So I started smoking at 14 years of age and I gave up when I was 41 years of age.

I was smoking 50 cigarettes a day so I was stopping every 20 to 30 minutes for a cigarette while I was awake.

My advice to someone who wants to quit and hasn't been able to in the past would be, number one, don't stop trying.

My second bit of advice would be try all the resources out there because there is something out there that works for you.
